Phonic to Release High-End Color Touchscreen Audio Analyzer
April 1, 2005 - Tampa, FL - This fall, Phonic will be adding a high-end, best-in-the-market audio testing tool to its popular Personal Audio Assistant (PAA) line. The PAA6 has all of the features of the previous models plus many new ones. Sound engineers and audiophiles who rely on audio testing tools to fine tune their audio systems and acoustic environments will appreciate the powerful array of tools available in this portable handheld device. The new design of the PAA6 features a 4" color TFT-LCD touch screen display with a toolbar that gives users easy and quick access to functions. It has a stereo 31-band spectrum analyzer, RT60 measurement, SPL meter, delay and reverb time, FFT analysis, Leq, THD+N, volt meter, impedance meter and more. What's more, a built-in retractable reference mic and numerous test signals provide the tools sound engineers need to setup a sound system or even to design a room. Other features include 31-Band EQ setting value display, phase checker, dual 48V Mic/Line level inputs, strip chart recorder, DIFF A-B, frequency detector, a headphone output and optional features like STI-PA. Also, other functions quite useful to musicians are musical note ID, octave measurement and others. For those who need it, the PAA6 offers EQ setting advice for boosting and cutting bands at the touch of a button. And for those who work in the real world, a built-in USB port and desktop software let you connect the PAA6 to the computer for real-time operation. PAA6 is the fourth and most advanced palm-sized audio analyzer that Phonic has released over the years. Each Phonic audio analyzer handheld is both extremely powerful tools for veteran and novice sound engineers alike. |
